How can I check the status of my transaction?
You can always contact the branch where you did the transaction for the status. Please click here for our branch network. Alternatively, you can send the details of your transaction to csuk@bfcexchange.co.uk or call us on +44 (0)20 8181 3680 and one of our customer service team members will assist you. If your transaction was made online– you will be able to see the status under transaction history page in the online portal www.bfcsmartmoney.co.uk

What is a transaction fee?
The Transaction fee is the commission we charge for offering our services to you. This is based on the amount you send. Contact us for more details on the transaction fee.
What is an exchange rate?
Each country has its own currency.  In any money transfer or foreign exchange transaction, there is a local currency and a foreign currency which will have different values. The difference between these two rates will have an impact on the money you send and that will be received.

What is Credit to Account?
This is transferring money direct into a bank account of your beneficiary. Generally, it takes up to 24-48 working hours to reach at the beneficiary’s account except weekends and bank holidays.
